HIPAA and FACTA compliant, and certified to shred Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), the 24650 is federally accepted to protect information and social security numbers against identity theft. Continuous operation and high-quality, solid steel cutting heads minimize downtime while shredding paper. A 9 1/2" feed opening and impact-resistant, lightweight, easy-to-remove 9-gallon bin make this a perfect deskside, high-security shredder. A patented, transparent safety shield in the feed opening protects fingers and hands. A 3/4 horsepower motor chews through 9 to 11 sheets of paper at once and up to 343 sheets of paper per minute.
