Its stacked cutting mechanism shreds more than 12 sheets into confetti in one pass so they fall into a convenient, 4.6-gallon bin. You won't have to bother removing staples. The paper shredder can shred staples as well as credit cards. Perfect for light-duty use, it runs quietly at 72 decibels for 2 minutes before needing a 30-minute shutdown.
